Jord Systems is a small, independent agentic software house based in West Sussex — one experienced practitioner, a set of AI agents, and forty years of knowing what makes IT projects succeed or sink.

Jord Systems Limited is the consultancy and software house of Chris Suddell, an IT management consultant and programme manager with over four decades of delivery behind him. The career runs through the heart of travel technology: customer software delivery at Open Destinations, running a tour operations business unit at Comtec Europe, and four and a half years at TUI — latterly as Director of IT & Digital, responsible for IT and eCommerce initiatives across 54 brands in North America, Europe and Australia.
Travel has been the backbone for more than 25 years, but the project list ranges far wider: transactional websites, database and reporting systems, and business process mapping across a variety of sectors. The common skill isn't any one industry — it's turning how a business actually works into systems that work for the business.
Independent since 2016, Jord Systems carries that experience into work for clients who don't have — and don't need — a corporate-scale IT function. No juniors learning on your budget, no account managers between you and the person doing the work. Every engagement is handled by the same pair of hands from first conversation to handover.
The name comes from Jörð — Old Norse for the Earth. It has been on the company's masthead for years, and it suits how we work: grounded, unglamorous, and built to last.
